Earn Your CDL A or B with Trainco — and Get College Credit at Terra State!

Looking to start a career in trucking? Terra State Community College has partnered with Trainco Truck Driving Schools to offer comprehensive CDL A and CDL B training, with the bonus of earning college credit along the way.

What’s the Difference Between CDL A and CDL B?

  • CDL A (Commercial Driver’s License - Class A) allows you to drive tractor-trailers and larger vehicles, including semi-trucks, flatbeds, and tankers. It opens the door to long-haul and high-demand driving jobs.
  • CDL B (Commercial Driver’s License - Class B) is for operating smaller commercial vehicles like box trucks, dump trucks, delivery trucks, and some buses. It’s a great choice for local or regional routes.

Flexible Training Options

Trainco offers day, evening, and weekend classes, making it easy to train on your schedule. Whether you're starting a new career or adding a credential to your skillset, there’s a training option that fits your life.

College Credit Included

Through our partnership, participants in Trainco’s CDL training program automatically earn 6.5 college credits in Truck Driving and Shop Truck Operations—with no extra steps required. These credits can be applied toward a degree at Terra State, helping you move forward in your education and career at the same time.
