How to Pay for CollegeThis certificate is designed to train students to assist physicians in a variety of
practice settings. Students learn office skills associated with the medical profession
and will be eligible to sit for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
examination upon successful completion of the curriculum. Certificate credits may
also be applied to an appropriate associate degree.
Terra State Community College’s Medical Assisting Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
