Terra State Community College Anti-Hazing Violations Report
Terra State Community College (TSCC) recognizes the importance of each individuals’ rights, dignity, health, and safety. As such, the institution strives to create an environment where all members can participate in the community without fear of jeopardizing such rights. The outcomes of hazing create unacceptable harm to those involved, the families of those involved, and the greater community. For this reason, Terra State Community College has a zero-tolerance policy for hazing.
On July 6, 2021, Governor Mike DeWine signed into law Senate Bill 126. Also known as Collin’s Law, Ohio’s Anti Hazing Act was passed to curb acts of hazing on college campuses in response to several unfortunate circumstances leading to the deaths of students. This report is published in compliance with Ohio Senate Bill 126.
