What is the difference between “submitting a housing application” and “signing a housing agreement?”
Submitting a housing application
When you fill out a housing application, you are informing the Student Housing Office
that you are interested in living in The Landings at Terra Village. There is no official
or binding agreement between you and Terra Village Holdings with just your application.
This changes after you confirm your housing application. Fees associated with your
application are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Signing a Housing Agreement (Terms & Conditions)
Once you complete your application, you will be asked to “confirm” your application. When you confirm your application, you will be asked to 1) check
that you have reviewed and agree to the "Terms and Conditions" as part of the housing
application, and 2) check that you declare all information submitted with the housing
application is correct. The Terms and Conditions are the housing agreement/housing
contract, and should be read and reviewed thoroughly before acceptance. We recommend
that you download a copy of the “Terms & Conditions” for your reference. By confirming acceptance of the “Terms and Conditions,” you are digitally signing
a legally-binding contract to reside on campus for the full term of the agreement.
Please review the housing agreement very carefully with anyone you need to consult
about your decision, such as your parent or guardian. You are responsible to fulfill
the agreement as written. The agreement takes effect when you accept occupancy of
the room (receive your keys and key fob at check-in).

This could be caused by one of several issues. These issues could include:
- Not having been admitted to the college yet
If you haven't submitted an application for admission to Terra State, this would be your first step before attempting to fill out a housing application. Click here to complete an application for admission to the college. Once you have been admitted to the college, you may attempt to submit your housing application 24 hours after admission. - Not having created your Terra account yet
If you've already completed an application and have been admitted, but are still having trouble, it's probable that you havne't created your Terra user account. You may only log into the system to complete a housing application using your Terra email and password. Click here for instructions on how to set up your Terra email and password. Once you have set up your email and password, it can take up to 24 hours before your information is in the system and you are able to log in to complete yur application.
My demographic information is not autofilling on my application, and I can't edit
the information.
The main cause of this issue is typically is that you were admitted to the college
in a prior term and either didn't take classes, or took time off from school. The
easiest way to resolve this issue is to meet with your academic advisor. If you previously
attended and have been out of school for more than an academic year, you will need
to reapply and be readmitted.
What if I have a different issue?
For assitance with other issues, call the Housing office at 419-559-2160
